Dang, dang, dang

The title is western speak for what I want to say but don't think I should here!!!!!

We got the latest (quicker than expected) news and it isn't the greatest, but....
I had another biopsy done yesterday on my neck/upper chest area and a port imbedded. They did a frozen section and it turns out those lymph nodes are also malignant. That puts me into a stage III and I will be getting chemo and radiation starting some time next month. We meet again with the oncologist Friday and will get a detailed plan then.

Again I have to say "I LOVE MY SURGEON". She is so sweet and supportive. She was really there for me when she broke the news yesterday and has said a number of times that if anyone is going to pull through this it will be me because I am strong, healthy and have a great attitude. I need to keep hearing that. When they were getting me ready to leave yesterday she came back with her beautiful 5 month old daughter with her. She had told us about her adoption and we saw pictures but is isn't the same as hearing a baby laugh and watch her kick her feet in excitement. That really made my day.

I have also set up an appointment with a Naturopath who works mostly with oncology patients. I'm interested in ways to get through this and help my body stay as well as it can with all the poisons it is going to have to deal with. I'm so glad we have alternative options available here.
