On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!

Well, there wasn't any room to add more painting supplies so I cleaned and organized yesterday. Away with all the acrylics, Watercolors are still out with my demo piece waiting to be finished but as soon as I do that there is another boot box waiting to be filled.

It is good I got the largest easel for this room cause I'm using it. I can fit it vertical but that is the largest dimension I can use.

Notice the items  on the end of the drawing board? Christmas gifts that stayed hidden including socks Alice has surely outgrown.

My brandy new pallet waiting to get colorful.

Let's see how long my organization lasts...

It feels good to start again in a clean, organized space. It is good the canvas has paint on it because a clean studio and blank canvas might be too intimidating. I love the smell of oil paints and we now have an air freshener through out the house - oil paint and linseed oil. Might need a door on the studio over time. It can't be the best to breath all the time - specially with my lungs.

As I said to Mick yesterday, painting has to become my new athletics.
