What a week - a wonderful week. I don't have the copies of the whole family yet, they are still on Carrie's camera, but I did want to post. Everyone rolled in as the week went on. Teague, Alice and Meags on Monday. Tanner, Nathan (Teague's great friend from Worcester who now lives in CA) and Tucker on Tuesday, Wed. T&T joined me on a visit to Jenny and an infusion. Thursday Jay, Carrie, Ty and Carson arrived in the morning and then Tim and Todd came in the afternoon.
Teague, Nathan, Tucker and Carson fixed a fantastic dinner. We had prime rib (from our cow), twice baked potatoes (some with broccoli and some plain), roasted root vegetables Pumpkin casserole with a topping that tasted like garlic bread and beets. We also had champaign for a two year toast and tart lemon cheese cake and pumpkin pie for desert.

There were 12 of us sleeping here on Thursday night. Unfortunately one of us didn't sleep well that night (could it have been the chocolate cupcake she had after dinner) and they had a very long day returning home.
We had dustings of snow at night and the elk were around a lot of the time. Perfect.
What a nice family gathering! Love seeing your guys working in the kitchen. Our two love to cook also and on special occasions they treat us.

It is interesting, Teague the executive sous chef's voice changes when he is in the kitchen. It get deeper and stronger - Mr Boss man.
