Fall in the Mountains

The frost was on the pumpkins yesterday and we had an inch of snow this morning but it is mostly gone. Mick planted these quite late and we were surprised at the harvest. They aren't giants by a long shot (notice the dumbbell) but it was a very successful experiment according to long time gardeners up here.

 As you can see, the critters liked them too.
