The Eyes Have It

Interesting, I have received so many cards, emails, phone calls from a fantastic network of friends and family that I have built throughout my live. If I connect with someone - I don't ever let them go (that has only happened once and it was so very painful). They have all touched me more than I can ever say whether I have known them for 1 year or 50 (64 for older family members).

Yesterday I had to go to the Community Center to deliver some new art for the exhibit and I found myself surrounded by fellow committee members who I have only known fora year or two and haven't felt especially close to. The tears came immediately. To see the concern, love and care is each of their eyes broke down all those "I'm strong and will get through this just fine, thank you very much" barriers.

To all of you whose eyes I have looked into and can't at the moment - I get teary thinking of looking into your eyes.

Thanks you all for your love and support.

  1. I'm praying hard for you and Betty. Keep your strength and spirits up. It is natural to feel afraid but remember God will not let you walk this alone. He's always there. Pray to your Mom and Dad and to Joe. They have direct contact and can pray for you. I love you. You're a brave little sister.
