On you way home yesterday we had a bit of a delay. We saw the cars stopped ahead of us as we were leaving the town of Del Norte and Mick started getting cranky (surprise, surprise).
Little did we know it was a cattle drive - crankies went away and it became interesting. The cows had to be moved from one piece of land to another but there was a river in the way, so they had to go over the bridge. If they got their hooves wet yesterday, going through not over the river, they would have been ice skating - it was very cold.
I was hanging out the window to get some of these shots and it was quite fun. I think the cowboys enjoyed seeing this crazy lady hanging out of the car.
After they crossed the bridge they were all over the place, panicing and at times stampeeding.
"Isn't anyone going to let us cross the road?"
"Don't ask, just go!"
"Isn't it great to have this power to stop all these cars and trucks?"
"Come on little doggies - let's get these critters where they belong."
