New Art

I have begun to play with my paints again and it feels so good. Here are two pieces I worked  on yesterday.

 I started this piece in the fall. I love the sky but am still struggling with the foreground. I don't want them to fight each other and I want the sky to dominate.

I also signed up for a painting class with Jordan Wolfson who lives and teaches in Boulder. I saw a show of his work two years ago and was very interested in studying with him but the time was never quite right - till now. I am going to be working in oils for this - I haven't used them since college. The painting above is done somewhat in his style but he is sooooo much better.

I'm kicking into gear - thank you Abilify!
