My Team

Here is our team at Camp Sherman; in front are Mike and Jimmy, the great ones (we couldn't call them guides) and Phil. In back are Bob, the composer, myself, Lynn and Steve.

The real thing

 This is a group of very special people in my life. It is the first real team I was ever a part of where our lives depended on each other - literally. We had an incredible experience and formed a lifetime bond with each other.

I am  now part of another team that my life depends on. One I never expected to be a part of, the world of oncology. Tomorrow I have my first acupuncture appointment, get set-up for the radiation and learn details of my chemo. I did get some details yesterday that I didn't expect - I will be having chemo once EVERY WEEK during the radiation and then two extra rounds 21 days apart after we finish radiation.

My friend Bob (see the guy in the red shirt above) and his friend John composed a song for me and I will be singing it a LOT over the next few months.
