After one Storm and Before the Next One

We had a wonderful snowstorm that started late yesterday and went through the night. My shovel king thinks we had about 2' of snow and he had his best ever day skiing. I had to be happy watching it from inside.

Still coming down a bit but you can see we got a pile.

As it broke up things became etherial and things quickly moved in and out of sight.

Etherial to the south and west and at the same time to the north east the sky was very blue. Can you see my poor car to the left of Mick's?

This is the sign of a true mountain car who lives on a dirt road.

Looks like marshmallow fluff dripping off the barn roof.

The setting sun is getting a little peak for the day.

The second storm mentioned on the title is of a very different nature and it is going to change to look of my blog for a while. I was involved in a serious ski accident a month ago and while they were scanning and X-raying my body they discovered something in my right lung that didn't look trauma related and definitely didn't belong there.  After a follow-up X-ray my doc decided we should do a biopsy. Wouldncha know, Ms. "I HATE cigarettes and smoking" has lung cancer.

This obviously has come as a big shock but we have to play the hand we are dealt. I am hoping to journal this adventure for my own release and it will be a place for those who want to follow my story. This is a short intro but I hope to share my thought from the past month and then continue into the future.
