This is looking south east from where our cabin is located.
These are taken from our road as it starts to drop into Boulder. It is looking right into the fire area.
There is an inversion right now (see the top of the smoke - cold air is holding it down) which is keeping the smoke low to the ground and keeping the slurry planes from flying. The fire has grown from 3500 acres this am to 7100 at 1:00.
Looking across the meadow (away from the fire) and nothing is visible in the distance.
