We went for a hike yesterday to Gross Reservoir and it was wonderful.
When we drove to our house and kept commenting on the strange cloud. At the crest of the hill we could see the brown smoke that looked like it was right behind our house....
We went to the cabin, showered and then up to the Community Center which was being used for a shelter for evacuees. The outpouring of help was just amazing and feels so good to be part of a real community. Here are some pictures from the the evening.
