After everyone left the camping area to go home to work and school, O and I went to a motel and a SHOWER!!! I love camping but this being my first time in a desert well, the sand did get to me and it felt good to clean it off.
The next day I went for a visit to Arches National Park and made some friends. I decided to dress up for the occasion and put a flower in my hat. I think I like the look.
My first friend was a camel altho I think it could also be an eagle on the right and the back of an Indian on the left with a post between them.
Down the road a bit were my DAP friends out for an afternoon stroll. They had fancy hats on, too.
The giant lion was guarding some secret rock formations and
Paddington Bear (it really looked like him in person) was waiting for the sunset.
I now invite you to share what you see in these rocks. It is so much fun and there are millions of them in the park. It was a real treat to be over 62 now and have my National Park Pass. I could keep going back (3 times) to explore, at no charge.
