Orion and I went to the Farmer's Market in Boulder today. We parked at Settler's Park so we could walk the trails along Boulder Creek for a mile to the market. Along the way there is a sculpture park and this fellow is guarding with a bouquet on his foot.
The market was very lively, not because of all the fresh produce (only got spinach and mushrooms) but CU had commencement yesterday and lots of family and friends were in town. I think Orion liked it. Not because we were constantly threading our way through a sea of legs but for all the quadrupeds he got to sniff. Everyone has a dog and many of them come to market.
This was the best dressed LaCrosse player I have ever seen.
Chilly temperatures didn't stop the picnics.
Some people obviously didn't think it was chilly and you can see the famous flatirons in the background.
Many willows line the creek and they are all ages. The ones above are probably the same size the ones below were when they were cut down. They don't handle wind well so I guess it's amazing some of them get so big.
This giant formed a wonderful seat to rest on.
It was snowing AGAIN when we came up the hill.
