Chinooks

Well the winds were BLOWING seriously last night.

30 - 50 mph with gusts up to 80!!!

Chinooks came in and trashed the poor bird feeder (see above), threw the chairs and snow shovels around, knocked down 2 trees (one dead, one living) and we had no power for about 17 hours. Apparently a telephone pole went down, too. One thing this urbanite easterner didn't think about is, it takes power to run the pump from the well so there wasn't any water before long, either. I have since stocked up on some for any future loss.

They were there for each other in life and in death.

Now they are both gone.

Mick, we need that chain saw now!
