Sometimes, when you live in the mountains,

the clouds have a hard time getting higher than the hills so that even cloudy days are beautiful here

and the clouds coming and going can't stop us for our walk! Since the snow is really melted we can find (and lose) some smaller trails which makes our "back yard" walks more interesting. I almost feel like I'm at the cape again with the fog but the views are so very different.

This is the second day we found some Pasque flowers which are wild mountain crocuses and some little white flowers which are..... I must get a flower book!

Looks like Orion is looking for the flowers, too but I'm afraid it is just a really good dog smell.
