Another neighbor story today. Orion and I drove ( I did most of the driving) 2 hours to our "across the meadow" neighbor's winter ranch on the plains to watch the cattle be brought in and checked by the vet. and then have lunch (we had lunch not the cattle. Well, I guess they had lunch too but not with the bipeds). This ranch has a glorious view of Pike's Peak and the gently rolling hills. A spectacular place and I just can't describe how warm and welcoming the people here are. I asked Maryanne when they will be bringing the cattle up to the mountains and she told me early June "if we don't have snow". What does that mean?????
